Just a few pictures of Albi showing off his pink velvet on his antlers.

Pictures taken June 15, 2008. I was able to take many pictures this evening before, others came and tried to box Albi in to take pictures. I left, as I knew Albi was getting frustrated, and bolted across the road. Thank God, the road had been blocked both ways, when he bolted. Afriend was with me and she did get about 15 minutes of video, never leaving the car before Albi left.
Some people say I am obsessed with this Albino deer, maybe they are right. I would rather say that this is one beautiful creature that I have the honor to watch grow. Every time I see Albi, I have the same feelings I had the first time I saw him over a year ago. God has been good to me and I feel fortunate to be able to see him on a daily basis and to take pictues, so other's not as fortunate may see him also.
I believe that God sent Albi for a purpose. Maybe in my life, or other lives. I really don't know. I do know that this little buck has changes how humans think about the wildlife that is surrounding us. People are taking time to enjoy their lives. Myself, I have met many wonderful people that I can call friends, have learned many new things and enjoying what God has given to us . I really feel privilaged to document his growth, learning their habits and the structure of the deer's lives. I tend to get upset, when I see their routine disrupted.
Deer have routines, and structure in their short lives, just as humans. They nurture, discipline, teach, play and talk to their young. I have watched them for a long time. The momma deer communicate to their fawns, like we mother's do. The fawn's sometimes do not listen and then momma will get their attention in different ways. They nudge them, they speak to them, they yell at them, and they discipline them when all else fails.
Just take time too look around your surroundings. You never know what might be in your own back yard, or very close.
Albi has been sterring clear of people. June 15, 3 people tried to crowd him and he bolted across the road and has been eluding the public. I still catch site of him, late at night deep in the fields. He is doing good and one day soon, he will start coming out more. His antlers are really growing. When I get more pictures I will up date this site.
