The Praying Mantis is to me a very interesting and beautiful creature.

The more I talked to this one, the  more it posed.  They are just wonderful to watch and take care of other insects.  I hope you take time and look at this creature. 

 Usually these creatures go unnoticed, but if you get a chance and see one, just watch and they are not afraid of you, I didn't touch them, but they were so plentiful at the daughter place, if you stood long enough you would have one or two on you.  Now, that is a little weird to feel, but not unpleasant.

You can see where the name comes from as it does look as if they are praying.

 I have only seen one praying mantis at my place but I know they are here, probably in our evergreen bushes.  They usually hide from everyone and just do their job.
